Funky Autumn Faces

The first part of the day was the usual…work, daycare, etc.  We went over to Mom & Dad’s house and had dinner and then Dad said he had to stop by one of the clinics to drop off some stuff and we all offered to go w/ him just to get out of the house and enjoy the evening.  We stopped at one clinic and Dad went in and didn’t come out for about 20 minutes.  So, Autumn & I went in to find out what was taking so long.  He was chatting w/ another doctor so Autumn & I went in the back room to raid the candy drawer.  Autumn was being silly and pulled this weird face when I told her to smile.  We were finally able to get Dad to quit talking and leave so we could go to another clinic.

When we got to the other clinic, we decided we weren’t going to sit out in the car again so we walked a few suites down to Krogers and shopped while Dad did what he needed to.  When he was finally done there, he came and found us.  We were leaving and decided we needed a treat.  We stopped at McDonald’s and got some fries.  I don’t know why, but on the ride home I was in the mood to go on a road trip.  Maybe I’ll have to plan a road trip in the near future.  We went back to Mom & Dad’s house and then Autumn & I packed up and came home.  We watched Dancing With The Stars and then I put Autumn to bed and blogged a little bit.

Even though we didn’t do anything spectacular or super exciting tonight, it was fun to just spend time together and I felt like I was really living in the moment and enjoying the small things that make up the majority of life.
