Autumn Bottom looked so cute this morning before we headed out the door to college. She was so happy to have her Easter basket filled w/ eggs to share w/ her friends. I gave her some medicine and hoped they wouldn’t have to call and tell me to come pick her up.
Work was kind of slow and Liz sent me a text asking me if I wanted to meet her at Amigo’s for lunch. I couldn’t pass that up and went over to meet her. Going to lunch w/ Liz is always fun. I forgot to get a picture when we got our food so I just took one after. We walked out to our cars and were talking for a minute when the heavens opened up and it started to rain like crazy.
After work, I stopped and got Autumn and they said she did fine. But, as soon as we got home she was whiny and lethargic so I gave her some more medicine. I wish I knew what was making her feel so crummy, but Dad has looked in her ears and checked her out and can’t find anything wrong. Mom went and bought a bunch of candy and so we sat and filled up the eggs for our big Easter egg hunt on Saturday at Aunt Sandy’s. Mom face cracks me up b/c she was wondering why she had a receipt from 2005 in the bag of Easter eggs.
Dad sat on the couch w/ Autumn while she showed him how well she plays the lady bug game. They also shared a bowl of cut up apples.
We came home so Autumn could go to bed and get lots of rest so she can start feeling better. We went out to check the mail and there was a package in there for Autumn from Jason & Nicole. Autumn was giddy over her new t-shirt that has a “sparkly pony” on it. She can’t wait to wear it tomorrow.
She also got a cute headband, Easter stickers, pencils, stamps, erasers, and bubbles. She got so much stuff she couldn’t even hold it all for this picture. She wanted to call Jason and tell him thank you. Then it was off to bed for her and I stayed up and watched Camelot (I changed the channel if there were any naughty parts) and then finally went to bed myself.
