Tornado Tuesday

Today at work it was pretty slow.  I’m glad that I have lots of roll over minutes to use on my cell phone b/c all the work calls are being forwarded there until we get into our new office.  After work/school we went over to Mom & Dad’s to use up some beet greens before they go bad.

We were watching the Biggest Loser finale when we heard the tornado sirens going off and they interrupted the Biggest Loser to report on the severe weather.  Liz HATES bad weather and feels safer (even if she necessarily isn’t) when there are more people around.  So she and Lib came over to wait out the storm.  I was so happy to see them b/c it’s been a while since we’ve hung out.  Poor Autumn is so desperate to have someone to play with b/c she’s an only child.  Liz was such a trooper and got down on the floor and played w/ her.  Autumn was being a bossy butt (hmmm….I wonder where she gets that from) and telling Liz which toys she could play w/ and which ones she couldn’t and what they could and couldn’t say and do.  Liz is making this face b/c Autumn told her she could only play w/ the two Jafar toys.  Too funny!

We were lucky b/c the storm was coming towards us, but split in half and kind of went around us.  We just got some rain, when towns just a few minutes away had reports of tornado touch downs.  Liz was finally able to feel safe enough to go home once the storm had passed.  Autumn & I packed up our stuff and headed home.  I washed my sheets just in case I brought home any chiggers from the garden on Sunday.   I worked on Project Life while waiting for them to dry and then finally went to bed at 12:30.
