Farewell Ms. Megan

Tomorrow is Ms. Megan’s last day since she will be having twins next month and her doctor told her she couldn’t work anymore.  Ms. Megan has been so wonderful and Autumn just loves her so much.  Moving Autumn over to this daycare has been so wonderful.  They have a curriculum and help get them ready for Kindergarten instead of just babysitting them and making sure they don’t kill each other.  Autumn’s been on this kick lately where she doesn’t want me to do her hair.  She just wants it to be down, so that’s why she kind of looks like a rag-a-muffin today.
 After I picked Autumn up, we went to Chipotle for dinner.  I have been craving it for about a week now and decided that tonight was the night.  I like sharing a bowl w/ Autumn b/c it’s the perfect amount to feed both of us.  I get the same thing every time…extra rice, black beans, barbacoa meat, corn salsa, sour cream, and cheese.

After we ate our meal, we went to the $1 store to get this big mug to put our treats in.  Then we ran to Target since it’s just a few doors down and got some peanut M&M’s which are Ms. Megan’s favorites and some Almond Joys.  I wrote a note that said, “My ‘cup runneth over’ with ‘joy’ that I got to be in your class this year.”  Then I had Autumn tell me what else she wanted to say to Ms. Megan and Autumn signed her name on the card. 

After Target, we went to WalMart so I could print out the picture of Autumn & Ms. Megan together to put in the card.  However, it was 8:15 and the photo shop closed at 8:00!  Dang it.  Oh, well.  Autumn was so excited and wanted to give Ms. Megan her present right away but I told her she had to wait until tomorrow.  We got home and watched some TV and just relaxed and then it was time for bed.
