Autumn was so excited when I picked her up from daycare today b/c she knew her Drew was coming. While we were driving to Mom & Dad’s house she kept telling me to “go faster” b/c she wanted to see Drew. I had to keep telling her if I went any faster then I would hit the car in front of me. We got home and they weren’t there yet but came about 5 minutes later. We put Drew’s car seat in our car and hit the road. I asked them who was having fun and this is what I got.
Lexie & Jon went and picked up Jon’s niece, Hillary. She just got married last month and her husband is selling alarm systems this summer and they just happened to be sent to the town we live in! What a small world. We drove down to Chuy’s b/c she wanted Mexican food and we got there and the wait was over an hour. So, we nixed that idea and instead went to our favorite Italian restaurant in town. It’s so scrumptious. Andrew wanted to go take a picture by the pizza guy, so we did.
We came back to the house and found this mess on the lawn. Nick had taken it upon himself to pick almost all the onions out of the garden and spray them off w/ the hose! I was so mad at him and asked him why he did that, b/c onions can stay in the ground for months. I told him to either put them back in the ground or give them away to neighbors so they didn’t go to waste. UGH!
We didn’t really do much for the rest of the evening. The kids played nicely in the back room and watched movies. Lexie & Jon & I watched some sports and then Lexie wanted to watch TLC b/c they don’t have cable at home. We watched Say Yes To The Dress and My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding. By this time it was already 10:30 and we were all wiped, so we called it a night and went to bed. Autumn wanted to stay and sleep in Nate’s room so she could wake up and play w/ Andrew first thing in the morning.
