This is how the bathroom in the guest quarters looks. Dad put tape around the doors when he did some touch up painting last year, and the tape ripped the wall paper off the walls. Mom & Dad are getting some work done on the house (yesterday they had a guy come and clean ALL the windows both inside and out). This is the first bathroom they are having Eddie redo.
This is how it looked after Eddie and another guy came and ripped off all the wallpaper. They are going to redo the bathroom in the evenings after they get done with their regular jobs. Eddie is so great and we just love him to pieces. We keep telling him to bring his wife sometime so we can meet her.
After swim lessons, the kids wanted to swim in Mom & Dad’s pool and Lexie and I had told them if they were good on the ride over and back and didn’t bother and tease each other then we could swim. They kept up their end of the bargain, so Lexie & I kept our end and went swimming with them. They had a blast jumping off the diving board and side of the hot tub. But, the real fun started when Dad came out and let them push him into the pool and swim with him. We came in and changed into dry clothes and Mom said she had a surprise for the kids. She had gotten them Pez dispensers and candy refills. Autumn got a Belle one and Andrew got a Cars one.
The kids asked Dad to make them a smoothie since he hasn’t done that in a while. He made a pina colada one and put a few pineapple slices in it. It was SO GOOD and even rivaled the ones we had at a resort in Cozumel a long time ago. Jocey & Kayli had been swimming earlier with us and they came in and had a smoothie, too. What a great way to end the evening…with good smoothies and good friends.
