Those Naughty Kids!

P1020794 Today at work I finished reading “The Help” and it was such an incredibly good book.  I seriously can’t wait for the movie to come out in a few weeks.  I’m going to round up a big group of girl friends and go see it.  I wish that all my girl friends from Utah & Slovenija and all over could watch it all together.  Anyways, after work I went and got Autumn & we went over to Mom & Dad’s house.  As we were walking into the house, Autumn noticed the bathroom door by the pool looked like this.  I wondered if Mom & Dad had put a decorative film on the door.  I went inside and asked Mom about it and she got so mad.  She said some kids were pool hopping last night and started making noise so Dad woke up and flipped on the light and they ran away but couldn’t get out of the gate b/c it’s super hard to unlatch unless you know what you’re doing, so they had to jump the fence.  Mom & Dad went back to sleep and about 30 minutes later Mom said she was just falling asleep when she heard what sounded like a window breaking.  Dad went outside to check it out and said he didn’t anything so they went back to bed.  Well, I guess those kids somehow cracked the glass but we couldn’t see a bullet hole or where they would have it it w/ a rock or bat.  Dad called and reported to the police just in case there had been any other reports in the area.

It was funny b/c the whole rest of the night Autumn kept asking questions about it. We told her some naughty kids had broken the window.  She kept asking why and wanted to know when the police were going to come look at it.  We had to explain to her that they weren’t going to come look at it, we had just told them about it over the phone.  She kept saying, “those naughty kids” did this and did that.  I have a feeling we’ll be hearing a lot about “those naughty kids” for a while.

P1020795 Mom had made chicken divan for dinner and it was divine.  Autumn kept playing around w/ hers and wasn’t really eating so Mom offered to feed her.  But, Autumn snookered her and ended up feeding 1/2 of her portion to Mom.  It was funny to see Autumn sitting on Mom’s lap like she used to do when she was little.  Autumn has grown up so much and is getting so big.

P1020797We cleaned up the dinner dishes and watched a little TV and then we had to rush home at 8:00 so I could give Autumn a bath.  I made a game of it, to see how fast we could get her in and out so she wouldn’t whine about not getting to play like I usually let her do.  I left her w/ Nick so I could go visiting teaching.  We met a new lady we visit at Yogurtville and she’s really nice and sweet.  She has a 9 month old and is 17 weeks pregnant but you can’t even tell at all.  She’s so skinny and isn’t showing even a little bit.  I had fun talking w/ her and Karri and savoring my peach frozen yogurt.  After we were done, I went to WalMart to get milk and drinks & frozen pizza for work ($68 later).  I came home to find this…Autumn was sitting in her rocking chair watching Pocahontas.  I gave her some snuggles and then put her to bed and blogged for a little while.

It’s funny b/c Mom will go through and read my blog a few days after I post things and she always finds typos and things I’ve written wrong.  I’m glad she’s my editor and she asks why I make so many mistakes and I tell her it’s b/c I usually blog at night when I’m tired and I have the TV on in the background.  So, if you notice all my typos and mistakes, just know that’s why I make so many!  Tee hee hee.
