Thoughtful Tuesday Treats

Today at work I read another 1/3 of the book “The Help.”  I stopped and got Miss Autumn Bottom and then we went over to Mom & Dad’s.  They weren’t home yet b/c they were out looking for new living room furniture.  I made tacos for dinner and then Autumn played games on the iPad and I kept reading my book online.

When Mom & Dad got home, Mom said she had a few surprises for us.  She got Autumn the black & white bracelets she’s wearing in the picture above.  She also got me these earrings and black flower ring, which is SOOO me!  She also got me some ADORABLE shirts at Ross.  Mom knows me & my style so well.  I really have the BEST MOM EVER!  I did up the dishes and then read my book some more.  Before I knew it, it was 9:30!  How did the time get away from me so quickly?

Autumn &  I came home and checked the mail and there was a package in there for me.  It was from a lady in Canada that responded to a message I posted on a Project Life website asking if anyone had an extra Project Life they would be willing to sell me (this is before I bought the one I have now on ebay).  She responded and said she had some left over components from it that she would send me if I would be willing to pay for the shipping!  There are so many kind and good and giving people in the world.  I blogged for a little bit and there were no good TV shows on, so I had Lord Of the Rings on in the background b/c it was on.  I surprised myself by getting so caught up in the movie that I didn’t go to bed until midnight!
