Today at work, a lady that works for one of our other offices came to our area b/c her husband had a doctor’s appointment. I have never met her before, but we have talked on the phone and emailed back and forth a lot and it was nice to finally put a face with a name. One of my bosses took me & Tracy & her husband out to lunch to Maggiano’s. This is what the outside of the restaurant looked like! It was so nice and fancy, and their food was just the same. I ordered some chicken fettuccini and couldn’t even finish 1/3 of it b/c the portion was so huge. I am going to have enough left over to feed Nick & Autumn & I. It was nice to get to leave the office and just sit and talk w/ Tracy.
When Autumn & I got to Mom & Dad’s house, Dad was outside swimming in the pool so Autumn jumped in with him. Mom had made chicken and wild rice casserole for dinner and Autumn thought she & Papa were hot stuff b/c they got to eat theirs outside. I just noticed in this picture that it looks like Autumn is stepping on Emma’s back! Maybe that’s why she’s got such a mischievous look on her face. Mom & Dad were wonderful and watched her for me while I went to the stake center for the bi-monthly Single Adults meeting. But, Pres. Jones forgot we were having it b/c his daughter is getting married on Friday and they have tons of family in town and were busy w/ wedding preparations. So, Sis. Farmer and Pete and I just talked for a little bit about the next big Single Adult activities that are coming up and called that good.
Since I was only gone for 30 minutes, I went back and watched some TV w/ Mom & Autumn and then Autumn and I came home so she could go to bed. I stayed up and worked on my Project Life and got all the journaling cards caught up. I finally went to bed at midnight when Autumn woke up crying and wondering where I was.
