Today after work, I had to stop and get gas b/c I always try to fill up my tank at 1/2 instead of letting it down to 1/4 or even lower. I was SO HAPPY that Costco had gas for less than $3!!! WOO HOO! I’m liking this downward trend of the cost of gas.
Mom had picked Autumn up from daycare, so after getting gas I just went straight to her house. She had made chicken & wild rice casserole for dinner, which as so tasty and just hit the spot. After we ate, we watched some recorded episodes of Survivor to get caught up. Then we flipped over to Dancing With the Stars. We try to record it and not watch it live so we can watch the show 45 minutes after it’s started and fast forward through all the commercials (or in this case, Nancy Grace’s dance b/c it was so awkward). During one of the slow dances, Autumn got up and had Papa come dance with her. Look at how sweetly she’s smiling and staring up at him w/ adoring eyes.
Autumn & I came home and opened up some windows in the house b/c it’s so pleasant (and cooler) outside. It’s nice to air out the house before we have to “hibernate” and breathe stale air through winter. I put her to bed and worked on my blog. Nick came home from work and we watched 2 episodes of Friends while waiting for Whose Line to come on. I showed him how to use the toaster oven Mom got him for his birthday. I always tell Nick he’s naughty for “making me” stay up and watch Whose Line with him. I really need to start going to bed earlier b/c otherwise I’m tired and less patient w/ Autumn in the mornings when we’re trying to get ready.
