After work today Dad called to say he had gone and picked up Autumn. I went over to the house and we were going to go to Fuzzy’s Taco for dinner b/c today was National Taco Day and they had their tacos for only $1 each. But, Karri called and invited us over to dinner at their house. They had signed up to feed the missionaries, but there was some miscommunication and the missionaries thought they didn’t have a dinner appointment for tonight. So, Craig called to see why they were late and they were at Cici’s pizza just finishing eating. The Deckers had a lot of food so they called and invited us to come over. Mom didn’t come b/c she was dealing w/ the horrible customer service people from Magicjack.
We had Hawaiian haystacks, which were so yummy. I need to put that in my repertoire of things to make b/c it’s easy and feeds a lot of people. Dad had to leave after dinner b/c he got called into the clinic. We had root beer floats or purple cows for dessert. The girls went upstairs to play and Nick & Zack played video games while I helped Karri & Craig clean up the dishes. We sat and talked for a while, which was so nice since I don’t get to see Karri anymore. She’s not my VT partner and we don’t see each other at Christine’s b/c The Bachelor’s not on. They are such neat and wonderful people, and I’m glad they invited us over for dinner.
We got home and I had Autumn brush her teeth while I sorted dirty clothes to do some laundry. I turned around to tell her to spit in the sink and saw that she had put it all over her chin. I started laughing so hard b/c it made me think of a dog foaming at the mouth. She wanted me to take a picture of us together.
After she washed off her face, I told her we should practice our pucker since the last pucker picture she did wasn’t so hot. I think she knows how to pucker, but is always just being silly and making funny faces. Hopefully she’ll perfect her pucker by the time she’s 30 (since that’s when she can start dating). LOL!
I put her to bed and then stayed up too late doing laundry and watching Whose Line as usual. It was a fun day.
