Crazy Eyes

P1030439  Autumn got herself dressed this morning and I thought she looked so cute, so we had to get the obligatory “stand by the fence and smile” picture.  I was worried about her, b/c her left eye looked droopy this morning, but I think it was just b/c she slept on it weird or something.  It was fine when by the end of the day when Dad went and picked her up.  He said that he was by her “college” so he would get her.  For dinner we had some fried potatoes and onions and I steamed some broccoli so we would have a vegetable that wasn’t smothered in butter.

P1030443Dad & I sat down and wrote out a menu for the next few weeks b/c we hate having to figure out what to make for dinner each night.  This way we both know what the plan is and can make sure we have the stuff on hand for whatever we’re eating that night.  Autumn & I had to leave after dinner, b/c my visiting teachers were coming at 7:30.  This was the horizon on the way home.  I  like the dark gray clouds w/ the lines of bright yellow and purple and pink in the distance.  So pretty!

binderAfter my visiting teachers left, I put on a movie for Autumn and told Nick to make sure she didn’t burn down the house and I went over to Christine’s to talk business for a little bit.  Also, she had cut her finger really bad earlier today and Dad had to put some stitches in it and one of her kids needed something typed up on the computer and she couldn’t do it b/c of her finger.  So, I got that all typed up and headed home.

I got home and was all giddy b/c my We R Memory Keepers binders came in the mail.  I got 2 of them in the wine color from Ritzcamera.com at a great price.  My 2011 Project Life is too big to fit in just one binder, so that’s why I got 2 binders.  I was debating on if I wanted to just do all black binders so they look nice and uniform when sitting on a shelf, but decided that I would rather have a bunch of colorful and inviting colors to look at.  Plus that way, I can visually group the same years together by color and at the same time separate them by year with different colors.

P1030446After I opened the box and took the stickers off the front of the binders, I was moving pages from my current Project Life album over to the new ones, I noticed that Autumn had taken the stickers and scrunched them up into balls and stuck them to her eyes!  It was so funny and we were laughing so hard.  It was already 9:30 by this point, so I put her to bed so she won’t be a grouchy girl in the morning.

I watched the last 15 minutes of Parenthood and then had Mona Lisa Smile on in the background while I started putting my mission pics into my new Project Life plastic sheets to get ready for when the Amber core kit comes on Friday.  I can hardly contain my excitement.  The anticipation is killing me!
