Immediate Answer To A Prayer

I got to work today and after checking messages and doing the things I needed to do, I read THIS blog post entitled "On Gifts and Talents" by Glennon.  If you have kids, please do yourself a HUGE favor and go read this post right away.

Luckily there weren't other people around in the office, b/c I had tears streaming down my cheeks.  This is a direct answer to a prayer about all my worries and concerns that I expressed just yesterday about Autumn's strenghts and weaknesses.

Glennon expressed it so PERFECTLY.  I couldn't agree with her more.  Her words are so inspired.

"Yes, baby. You are okay. You are more than okay. You are my dream come true. You are everything I’ve ever wanted, and I wouldn’t trade one you for a million anybody elses. This part of life, this school part, might be hard for you. But that’s okay, because it’s just one part of life. And because we are going to get through it together. We are a team. And I am so grateful to be on your team."

Cue the tears again!  I KNOW there are just more challenges ahead w/ Autumn and school work b/c she hasn't even started Kindergarten yet.  But, when I'm having an especially challenging day w/ her in the future, I'll just remind myself to go back and read Glennon's blog post.

This just reconfirms my testimony that Heavenly Father is aware of my individual needs and the things that concern me.  He also answers some prayers through other people.
