Mom told me about this website and they had this under their freebies section and I LOVE IT! I will for sure have to use this in Young Women’s some time. It will be my new dating motto, too.
After work/school we went to Mom & Dad’s house for dinner. Mom had Sonoma Chicken from Costco and some fresh spinach. We eat a whole huge bag by the time it’s all cooked down, b/c we all love spinach. For dessert, we had raspberries, which is one of Autumn’s favorites. It makes me happy that Autumn likes fruits and vegetables as much as the rest of us do.
The raspberries were so perfect and big and beautiful that Dad put them on Autumn’s fingers (like we do with olives) and she just ate them off her fingers. They were super juicy and sweet and hit the spot.
We had to leave after I did the dishes so I could go visiting teaching. I love my new partner b/c she actually shows up and even did a great lesson. We kept the visit short b/c the lady we teach had just gotten home from work and needed to make dinner and take care of her husband who had back surgery earlier this month. It was pouring cats and dogs on the way home and the sky completely lit up a few times and was beautiful b/c of the lightning. I’m glad Autumn enjoys storms as much as I do. When we got home, she asked if we could have some hot chocolate together, and so we did. We worked on her sight words and then it was time for bed.
I did some laundry and watched TV and did the dishes and then read some really good articles for my YW lesson in a few weeks about Homemaking. Both were EXCELLENT! One was called “Knowing Who You Are – and Who You Have Always Been” by Sheri Dew and the other one was “Strengthen Home and Family” by Susan W. Tanner. I appreciate the words of these incredible and inspired women.
