We had a nice relaxing morning of dancing and watching TV and while I worked on my PL, Autumn sat and colored at the table w/ me. Then we got ready for church and she wanted me to take a picture of her hair and big pretty flower in her fancy dress. She’s such a fashionista.
Even though my hair looks funky (I put it up in a claw like this just to let it dry so I have some volume) I wanted to make sure we got our weekly Sunday picture. Church today was good and I taught the lesson in YW. Since the girls have their mini missions on Saturday, we talked about the first discussion instead of the usual lesson. I am so excited that I will get to be involved w/ that. It will be a neat experience for the girls.
After church we rushed home to change clothes and went over to Mom & Dad’s house. We had grilled Ollie North chicken for dinner, which was so incredibly good. Then we relaxed and watched football. I am going to be so sad when football season is over. We came home b/c our home teachers were coming over at 7:00. The lesson was about Captain Moroni & being courageous. It was so funny b/c Autumn kept adding the phrase “of Latter-Day Saints” onto the end of everything. Like Book of Mormon of Latter-Day Saints.
Another funny thing she did today was on the way over to Mom & Dad’s. She was playing w/ her Barbies in the back seat and I usually don’t pay attention when she’s playing Barbies but I was listening to her today. All of a sudden she had one of her Barbies say to the other one, “you want me to bust you up?” I started laughing so hard b/c it was completely unexpected, and I asked her where on earth she had heard that b/c I’ve never said that before. I am guessing she picked it up at daycare. What a kid.
