Taco Salad Tuesday

Tonight for dinner, Mom & Dad had the missionaries over for dinner.  We had taco salad so that everyone could pick what they wanted.  I love this lazy susan tray in the middle.  All of those trays are separate.  It was fun having the missionaries over, especially the new one.  He’s only been out of the MTC for a week, he has only been a member of the Church for 13 months, and he was really funny.  We ate and then they shared a spiritual thought w/ us.

The senior companion & Dad were exchanging funny and random scripture stories.  Like the one about the assassin prophet.  Read Judges 3:15-26.  Ehud makes a dagger which is a cubit long, which is the length of the tip of your finger to your elbow.  Then he stabs Elgon, the king of Moab, in the stomach.  The king was so fat that “the fat closed upon the blade, so that [Ehud] could not draw the dagger out of his belly.”  That is ONE FAT MAN!

Anyways, Dad finally took them home b/c they had missionary work they needed to do.  Autumn & I came home and did flips and played and then it was bed time.  I watched Parenthood and then called it a night.
