Today at work it was busy again, so I was thankful that one of the guys offered to buy me lunch. It’s the same guy that I type up his estimates. It only takes me a few minutes, and a lunch in exchange for that is totally worth it. I haven’t had Burger King in years and years. Their fries weren’t as good as I remembered, but their hamburger was really good.
After work/school, we went to Mom & Dad’s house and I made dinner for Nick & Autumn & I. After we ate, we decided to go on a walk. I am so jealous of these pretty purple iris in the neighbor’s yard. I had to go over and get a picture.
The stream actually had flowing water instead of just a trickle b/c of all the rain we’ve gotten the past few days. Isn’t this so pretty and quaint?
When Autumn & I went to WalMart yesterday, we bought a collar and leash for Emma so we can take her on walks and not worry about her running off after other dogs or being in the street when cars go by. Emma hasn’t worn a collar in years, so she was NOT liking it at all. But I’m glad we can keep her safe on our walks, b/c we’ll be taking a lot more walks in the evening now.
Autumn rode her bike while Nick & I walked. Some other neighbors have this beautiful wisteria bush in their front yard. I told Autumn to go stand by it, but not to get too close b/c there were bees all over the flowers.
Even though the neighbors have such pretty flowers, our own backyard is the prettiest in my opinion. The yellow & red tulips just started blooming out of nowhere. I love seeing those every year.
Look at the beauty I was able to find just by looking around. We sat out on the patio to enjoy the weather for a while. Then we went in when it was getting dark. We watched the free On Demand episodes of Pretty Little Liars b/c I haven’t seen any of this season’s yet. At 8:30 Autumn & I came home and I put her to bed and just relaxed on the couch and watched TV b/c I wasn’t in the mood to edit pictures or blog. Sometimes it’s nice to just turn my brain off and veg out.
