Another Croatian Reference

Today after work/school, we went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner and then Autumn & I went on a walk around the neighborhood b/c it was such nice weather outside.  I was surprised at how much the poppy flowers have changed.  All the red blooms are gone and now they look like these bulb things w/ star shapes on top.  Pretty cool!

I had never noticed this before, but in someone’s yard they had these gorgeous pale pink roses right above these cacti plants.  I loved the dichotomy.

Dad got home from work and made Autumn’s favorite treat…cut up strawberries drizzled in honey.  It was funny b/c she was sitting over by me watching TV and as soon as Papa sat down and she noticed what he had, she ran right over to him and was all snuggly.  She knew there was a high probability that she would get some, and of course she was right.

We came home and I got Autumn to bed and then wanted to watch TV in my room b/c I was tired and just wanted to be in my bed.  I was flipping channels and there was an episode of House Hunters International, and it was in…Croatia!  I’m hoping all these references to Croatia that have come into my life lately, mean that I will get to go there again soon.  I don’t know why, but I have been really tired lately, even after getting a full night’s sleep.  I’m hoping for some sweet dreams of Croatia or Slovenija tonight.
