Tonight after work/school, Dad said he had a surprise to show us on the kitchen table. He had found & caught a tarantula! We decided he was hungry and might like to eat a june bug so we caught it and put it in there. The spider did not try to eat the june bug and didn’t even like having it in his space. The june bug just walked around the jar and every time it went under the tarantula, the spider would just lift its legs and let it go under. It was like watching a game of London Bridge. LOL!
After dinner we just relaxed and watched some TV. Autumn & I came home and I was looking out in the backyard and noticed these pesky vines were growing exponentially. I had pulled some last week, but they came back w/ a vengeance. These vines are rotten little stinkers and stick to everything. Look at how there are little spikes/feelers on the stem, the leaves, and the bulbous ends. I was going to try and wax eloquent in comparing this to the things of the world that seem innocent but really do “stick” to us and are hard to get rid of. But, I’ll let y’all make your own object lesson & application to your life.
