Taco Tuesday & Talking To Nate In Japan

Today at lunch I decided to try out the Taco Bell “Big Box” b/c the guys at work are always getting it and saying how good it is.  I got the Chalupa box and it was just ok.  I prefer soft over hard tacos and the burrito wasn’t that good.  The chalupa was excellent b/c of the yummy creamy sauce they put in it.  But, I would much rather get my favorite panini & sweet potato fries & a drink for just $1 more than what this cost.

After school we went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner.  After dinner we sat down to have Family Home Evening.  We said a prayer, sang a song, and then Dad was going to give the lesson.  I reminded Mom that it was Nate’s birthday already in Japan, so she was looking up his # to call him and Dad got out his phone b/c he got a text from work.  I had to take this pic to tease them that is how they were starting off our FHE…by playing w/ their phones and how we would have gotten in BIG trouble for doing the same thing when we were younger.  LOL!

We got a hold of Nate & ended up waking him up b/c it was 8:30 am in Japan and he had the day off.  It was good to talk to him and sing Happy Birthday.  It’s so crazy that he’s 1/2 a world away and I’m thankful for technology so we could let him know how much we love and miss him and that we’re glad he’s part of our family.

  Mary came over to say hi and pick up Season 2 of Downton Abbey that I’m letting her borrow.  She’s so neat and I just love her to pieces.  Anyways, Mom & Dad left to go over to Maggie & Robert’s house to say hi.  Autumn & I stayed and watched Dancing With The Stars and forwarded through all the commercials and talking.  It was already 8:40 before I knew it, so Autumn & I packed up and headed home so I could get her to bed.
