Missing Mom Monday

Since Mom is gone to Austin, we had to get creative for dinner tonight.  Dad did fried zucchini and I was going to make grilled cheese so we would have something w/substance, but we were out of white bread.  So, we had yummy good brown bread w/butter and jam instead w/ our friend zucchini.

After dinner, Dad got called into the clinics so Autumn & I went and ran some errands.  We got Mom’s present for Mother’s Day and then went to the Dollar Store to see if they had some 4x6 picture frames I needed for my YWomen’s lesson on Sunday.  They did, and we also found some other things.  I was so happy to find these little plastic cartons to use for teacher appreciation week gifts next week.

After the Dollar Store, we went to WalMart to pick up some PLife pictures and then get a bunch of groceries.  Autumn is such a good girl in the store, and I always make sure to tell her how good she was when we get in the car.  I tell her how much I appreciate her listening and behaving, b/c I remember lots of times when going shopping w/ her when se was younger was a complete nightmare.

Anyways, it was good to get a lot of things marked off my to-do list.  I really hope this lesson on Sunday about celestial marriage goes well.  I’ve been thinking about it for 2 weeks and nothing’s really gelling or coming together.  That’s why I procrastinate…b/c I work better under pressure.  When I have lots of time to think about it, I have too much information and it’s hard to narrow it down.  Anyways, I’m sure it will turn out fine.
