I usually get hungry at work around 3:00, so I went in the kitchen to get my apple cutter and found a bunch of snacks in the cupboard. I know these Ritz Crackers ‘N’ Cheese Dip are so bad for you, but I just had to have one b/c of the memories attached to them. I used to have these as a kid and loved getting to dip that little red plastic stick in the cheese and spread it on the crackers. I always thought that there needed to be more cheese to balance out the cheese-to-cracker ratio. Oh, well. It was still a fun nostalgic treat and I also ate my apple to make things a little more healthy.
As soon as I left work, I went out to the nail place to have Binh fix my nail. He wasn’t sure if he could b/c of how far down it had broken off. But, he took a fake nail tip and slowly slid it under what was left of the acrylic. It hurt really bad but I sucked it up and he got it done. Then he put a fake nail tip (you can see it where that thin white line is) on my nail bed and angled it up to not put pressure on the exposed nail bed. As you can see, it was bleeding a little bit (where the black spots are) but now it’s protected and I can type and be normal w/ it and it doesn’t hurt. I thanked him profusely and told him he’s a miracle worker. He didn’t even charge me for it. (I know my fingers/knuckles look dark and really dirty in this picture, but I had to make it darker to show the detail on the fingernail.)
I was really blah when I got to Mom & Dad’s b/c I was tired and my bottom jaw on the left hand side was hurting bad. It has been aching for the past few days but it got really bad today so I called and made an appointment to see the dentist tomorrow. We had dinner, vegged out and watched a recorded episode of So You Think You Can Dance, and then Autumn & I came home and both went to bed at 9:00. I can’t remember the last time I’ve gone to bed that early, but it was greatly needed. This was the beautiful sunset on our drive home. I wish I could have been up higher above the tree line b/c I caught glimpses in between the trees of the bright red sun as it was setting. Oh, well…this picture is still pretty.
