Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 22

Here is week 22.  It had some major events mixed in with just some ordinary, everyday happenings…just like normal life.  Some days are super busy and full of events and other days are just laid back.

Monday~ It was Memorial Day and we had fun w/ working in the garden, I almost swallowed a fly in my drink, the kids spent the day swimming, and we had a big shrimp boil.

Tuesday~ I got an adorable new outfit and shoes for Autumn at the kid’s consignment store for just $8 total!

Wednesday~ It was “crazy sock day” at school, so Autumn was showing off her crazy socks while doing a breathing treatment.  We also went around that evening and helped Sis. Lee decorate the doors of our 4 graduating Seniors.

Thursday~ It was Autumn’s preschool graduation day.  I did a collage of her w/ her teachers.  I also used a flip flap in this spot, but forgot to take a pic of the flap up to show the pictures underneath.  Oh, well.

Friday~ I tried driving a Vespa for the first time and it was pretty comical.  I’m such a goober.

Saturday~ We had a Girl’s Day, which was full of hair cuts, swimming, bubble baths, lunch at Cheddar’s, and having fun together.

Sunday~ I went visiting teaching and had to get a pic of this doormat that says, “Life Happens Here.”  I ♥ that!

I added a few new things to my 3x4 slots this week.  Instead of the using the core kit filler card like I usually do for the first spot, I used this American Flag card.  It’s just the inside of an envelope that I cut out by tracing around a blank grid card.  I talked about that in my Week 18 Project Life blog post.  I love it that this spot was filled with something patriotic and that it was free!

I also used this colorful cardboard “Grad” graphic that I got off a bag topper I was going to throw away from when we decorated the Seniors’ doors on Wednesday.  I just trimmed the parts off that I didn’t need and slipped it right into the pocket.  Again…adds a little extra something to that spot and it was free.

And b/c I’m a proud Mama, I had to include this picture of my gorgeous graduate.
