Such A Good Papa

Autumn looked so cute for school this morning that we had to get a picture before heading off to school.  I love this outfit, and especially b/c I got it for super cheap at the kid’s consignment store.  I don’t know why she’s sticking her elbow out like that, but she has the cutest smile in this pic of all the ones we took, so this is the one that gets posted (wonky elbow and all).

After school/work we went to Mom & Dad’s for dinner.  After we ate, Dad went out and swam w/ Autumn, for which I was really grateful.  I feel like I’m starting to get sick w/ the crud (runny nose, sore throat, etc), so I just stayed in and relaxed on the couch.  I snuck over to the blinds to peek on them a few times and this picture cracks me up.  I don’t think Autumn realizes how lucky she is to have such a good Papa.

When they came in, Autumn wanted me to secure these blankets around her w/ an elastic.  She danced around and pretended like she was the Queen of Sheba in her fancy skirt and cape.  We came home and went straight to bed at 8:30, which is unheard of for me.  I just felt crummy and figured if I could get some extra sleep that would help me fight off this crud.
