Tonight after dinner, Papa said he needed some help fixing a few Christmas lights outside. Autumn’s coat was out in the car, and I offered to go get it but Dad said we didn’t need it. He & Autumn disappeared into the garage and Autumn was giggling when they came back in b/c Papa had fixed this coat for her. I’d say it’s about 10 sizes too big, but she didn’t care. They went outside and fixed the lights and then came back in and had some hot chocolate to warm up. It’s the fun little things like this that I hope she’ll remember. We don’t have to spend tons of money to have fun. It’s so often the small & simple things that mean the most.
