Happy March

We’re going to try and grow out Autumn’s bangs, so I tried a new hairstyle today.  She looks SO DIFFERENT w/out bangs and I’m not sure if I like it, b/c I’m so used to seeing her w/ bangs.  But it’s one of those things where it really doesn’t matter, so if she wants to grow them out then we’ll make it work.  Last night I got tired of all of Autumn’s bows getting ruined and trashed b/c we had them all thrown into a drawer.  So, I got some ribbon from Mom & put them up on my closet door.  I did this at our old house and loved it.  It keeps the bows nice, Autumn can put them in rainbow color order, and it maximizes an unused space.  I just used a flat thumbtack to secure the ribbon at the top of the door and then duct taped the other end onto the back of the door.  SO EASY!

Bobbie & I wanted to get out of the office today for lunch, so we tried a new Mexican restaurant.  That’s queso sauce in the little bowl off to the left.  The food was good and my favorite part was the Mexican rice.  It’s so fun to have someone fun like Bobbie to go to lunch with.  She’s so nice.  It makes me miss when Liz & I would go to lunch.

Tonight after work/school, we had dinner and then Autumn snuggled up next to Mom on the couch to play games on my iPhone.  I love this picture b/c it shows how little Autumn still is.  I know I say all the time that she’s growing up too fast and that she needs to stop growing.  But, she’s still a little girl and I love this stage of her life.  I love how it also shows her sense of style w/ her on purpose mismatched socks.  I’m sure 10 (or maybe just 5) years from now we’ll laugh at how different phones were “back in the good old days”.

We came home and I got her to bed and I was cold, so I made a big mug of hot chocolate w/ my favorite creamer.  How is it already March?  Where has this year already gone?  The weather is so weird b/c some days it’s nice and warm in the 70’s and then the next day the high is in the low 50’s.  I’m for sure ready for Spring!
