Sweet Treats Sunday

Today was just a nice and laid back Sunday.  Tonight after dinner Mom said she had a special treat for us.  She had a bunch of left over frosting from making the cupcake dresses.  She said that Rufio used to make this for her and her sisters all the time when they were little.  It’s just frosting in between graham crackers.  They’re better if you let them sit for a little bit so the frosting can soften up the graham crackers.  Mom said she used to make them for us kids when we were little too.

I had to run to WalMart yesterday to get a few groceries for Mom, and while I was there I had a hankerin’ for this key lime pie.  I LOVE Edward’s pies, and this was on sale so I knew it had to come home w/ me.

I had to record this, b/c I’ve been noticing it a lot lately.  Random items that I’ve needed at the store have been on sale.  Some people might think that it’s just a coincidence, and the first few times it happened I thought the same thing.  However, it’s been way too often to just be happenstance.  I’ve had the distinct impression that it’s one of the many blessings I’ve received from paying my tithing and a generous fast offering.
