Lexie & the boys came up to visit, and Andrew asked if we could have spaghetti for dinner so he could try out his new chopsticks that Mom & Dad brought home from Japan for him. They’re the training kind that are pretty easy to use. Autumn & Papa also ate w/ chopsticks and had fun eating their noodles that way.
After the kids ran around and played for a while, it was time for smoothies. I love this tradition & how the kids all line up their chairs. I love it how they laugh and cover up their ears (or cheeks if you’re Jackson) when Papa starts the blender. I love it how he gives them each a taste so they can give their stamp of approval before it’s poured into cups and handed out. Everyone loves smoothie time…
…especially Mom since she just got a straw and started drinking it right out of the blender. Actually, she only had a few sips b/c she’s being good w/ her sugar intake. We had fun spending time together and then we got the kids to bed & Lexie & I stayed up and worked on a 1,000 piece cupcake puzzle that Mom got.
