Nails & Swimming & Puzzling

Today was a good day, although it felt like it should have been a Sunday b/c Thursday felt like Saturday.  Autumn woke up at 7:18 (so much for me being able to sleep in), and we just snuggled in bed and watched Jake & the Neverland Pirates & Sofia the First.  Then we got up and made breakfast w/ Mimi.

I had a nail appointment at 10:00, which is always such a pampering treat.  When I was done, I went next door to check out the kids’ consignment store.  I was so happy when I saw that they had a 75 % off clearance sale.  But, I wasn’t able to find anything good so I left empty handed.  I stopped & got penne dolcelatta for lunch, but we were all disappointed b/c it wasn’t very good like it usually is.

After we ate lunch we went swimming & had so much fun spending time together.  We kept saying how lucky we are and how much we appreciate this great life we have and how hard Dad works to provide it.  We try to not take it for granted.

We got out once we were all water logged and had our fill of sun.  Mom & I started this shoe puzzle she bought and Autumn watched Hotel Transylvania (random, I know).  After that was over she watched Enchanted while we worked on the puzzle together.  She’s a good little puzzler.  We ended the day by watching National Treasure b/c it was on TV.  We were able to knock out this 1,000 piece puzzle in 5 hours.  I’m loving that I had a short work week & think we should always have Thursdays off.
