Family Home Evening With The Mannewitz’s

Mom texted this picture to me while I was at work today.  She said something about her 2 big babies.  LOL!

Tonight after dinner we went over to the Mannewitz’s for Family Home Evening.  Mary & Curt & Jessie were there, too.  The lesson was on gratitude.  Then it was time for everyone’s favorite part…treats.  They had such a nice spread of fruit and veggies.

This is what happens when you ask Nate to take the group picture.  I found this amongst all the other pictures and had to laugh, b/c I didn’t even know that he had taken it.

For our activity we played Headbandz.  Nate was a hammer, Riannon was a lollipop, Mom was a dragon, Autumn was a cow, Mary was money, and I was a unicorn.  We had so mcuh fun and were laughing like crazy.

We finally went home at 8:30 so I could get Autumn to bed.  Karri & Mom came over at 9:30 so we could go to the 9:55 showing of The Ultimate Life.  It’s a sequel to The Ultimate Gift.  We got there and were THE.ONLY.ONES in the theater until about 20 minutes into the movie.  Then 2 couples came in and that was it.  The movie had a great message and was uplifting.  But, the acting was pretty bad and cheesy at times.  I’m still glad we went even though I didn’t get home until late and will be super tired tomorrow.  I love spending time w/ such wonderful women.
