Autumn & I decided to get a “sassy” picture before church today. She picked out her outfit all on her own, and I’m so proud of her for picking this hot pink jacket to make her dress modest. I taught in Young Women’s about the armor of God & guarding our virtue. I brought Dad’s 4 foot tall suit of armor, and the girls loved it. The edges of that thing are like a sharp tin can, so I had to be really careful getting it in & out of the car, but it was worth it to have it there as a visual for my lesson.
After church Autumn & I came home to eat lunch so she could work on her “I” project. Basically she had to put things about herself on this giant letter I. I used a few things from her poster last year, and this came together super fast. Then our home teachers came over for a visit.
After they left, Autumn & I went over to Mom & Dad’s house to hang out and watch football. Mom even made rice pudding, which was so scrumptious w/ vanilla ice cream. I had to leave and go to a Regional Single Adult meeting that was 30 minutes away where we planned all the dances for the next year. I was glad to be done w/ that so I could get home to my Autumn girl. I get such little time w/ her during that week that I like to be w/ her as much as possible on weekends.
