Not Yo’ Mama’s Nasty Fruit Cake

This was the funniest quote from today’s episode of Downton Abbey!!! I laughed so hard when she said it to Robert.  It was a good episode.

One of the ladies that Dad home teaches brought by this cake to thank him for helping her fix a hole in her wall from where she had a leak.  You can tell that Dad was sick and not feeling good b/c he has no sparkle in his eyes … poor guy!

This was a super fancy cake, and the surprise was that the inside wasn’t cake at all … it was watermelon!  What a great idea to give someone a fancy AND healthy cake.

We spent a nice and relaxing evening watching football and being together.  Autumn loves to eat manly jell-o w/ Papa, and he’s so cute to go and sit w/ her at the table instead of eating in the living room.  She is so lucky to have such loving & involved grandparents.
