This morning when Autumn & I were waiting in the drop off line for school, we saw another rainbow cloud. This picture didn’t pick up the green, blue, or purple, but it was a full spectrum of rainbow colors in this one spot in the cloud. It was really cool.
Today at work we got in a shipment, but none of the guys were around to unload it. So, I got on the forklift like I usually do to unload it. I was backing out of the warehouse and all of a sudden heard a horrible noise and I couldn’t move the forklift anymore.
I got off to look and see what had happened, and the forklift had sunk down into the concrete and was stuck!!! The concrete there had been cracked for a while, and I guess it finally was too weak to hold up something heavy like the forklift.
When my boss got back from his meeting, I told him what happened and he tried a few different things to get it out. He finally had to hook a heavy duty chair around it and pull it out w/ his huge old truck. This is what the ground looked like where it had been! WHOOPS! It could have happened to anyone and it was an accident, but I still felt bad. I’m glad there was no permanent damage done to the forklift.
Tonight for dinner I stopped and got Little Caesar’s for dinner b/c Mom said we were all on our own. Autumn & Nick & I ate and then Autumn & I took Nick over to the stake center so he could get his temple recommend interview b/c his had expired. We stopped to get gas on the way home & got to see this super colorful sunset. So pretty!
Autumn & I were watching SYTYCD and dancing around the living room. Then President Obama’s Address to the Nation came on. Usually I would just switch to another channel, but for some reason we both just sat right down on the floor and were very somber and watched it. I hope things in Syria can be resolved, but I can’t help but feel that things are just going to get worse. It makes me so sad!
