Autumn’s school had a Veteran’s Day assembly today. Papa went again (just like he did last year) and even wore his uniform. He went and talked to Autumn’s class after words, but her teacher hasn’t emailed me a pic yet. I’ll have to add that in once she sends it to me. I know Veteran’s Day isn’t until Monday, but I am so thankful for the incredibly brave men & women who have served & are currently serving their country & their fellow men.
We did Subway for dinner tonight b/c we only had about 15 minutes to eat by the time I picked Autumn up from daycare and then dropped her off at Deckers. I don’t know why she’s making this face, and she was trying to do a “hang ten” Hawaiian thing, but it looks like she’s doing “call me, maybe.” LOL! What a ham.
Melanie, Karri, Mary & I all went to the local high school to see their production of Pride & Prejudice. The guy who played Mr. Collins did a GREAT job!!! But, the best part of the whole thing was just being together w/ the girls. After we were done, we wanted dessert, so we went to On The Border for their apple crisp. But, it smelled so good in there that we ordered real food. The service was super slow even though the place was pretty empty. But, we had a lot of fun talking and laughing and catching up w/ each other.
When I got home, I put in Little Women (yes, on VHS) and stayed up until 1:45 am working on the gift for Autumn’s cheer coaches.
