Tonight after dinner, Autumn asked Papa if he would wrestle w/ her. She’s been a little stinker lately b/c she’s growing up and doesn’t need us as much as she used to, so it was a pleasant surprise that she would initiate this. They were laughing and having a grand old time.
Even though Emma is super old and ready to kick the bucket any day now, she wanted in on the fun & excitement too. She came over and did her little playful movements, which is her way of wrestling. I love that Dad’s petting Autumn while he’s got Autumn pinned. LOL!
After all that fun & excitement, it was time for some snuggles.
But, that didn’t last for long b/c Autumn wanted to build a fort and then she climbed in and had Papa & Emma & I come in and lay in the fort w/ her. She invited Mimi too, but Mimi didn’t want to.
I took Autumn home and got her into bed, and then Mom came over to watch her for me so I could meet up w/ some fun ladies to celebrate Deb’s birthday. It was her birthday on Monday, but we celebrated it tonight w/ a Girl’s Night Out. Doesn’t this just look like such a fun group?
We went to a Creperie (a cute cafe where they serve crepes). I got the strawberry cheesecake crepe, and it was really good. The only bad thing was we got there at 8:00 & they closed at 9:00 & it took about 5 minutes for them to make each individual crepe. Deb opened presents and we talked and laughed and had a good time until they kicked us out at 9:10.
I had to walk over to see the big huge tree all lit up. This picture does no justice as to how huge this tree is & how bright it looks. I LOVE it!!! Happy birthday, Deb & thanks for such a fun GNO!
