Tonight for dinner we had what Autumn calls “the good meat.” AKA rib eye steaks! She wanted to help w/ dinner, so I let her pound them w/ this tenderizer. She had lots of fun doing it & then went outside to help Papa grill them while I made some side dishes. Mom got released from Scouts, but then got put in as a 3rd leader for Activity Day Girls. It’s pretty much like Scouts, but for girls.
Tonight for Young Women’s we had a Gratitude Night. We each wrote a note/letter to the 7 (yes, SEVEN) missionaries we have serving from our ward. Then Sis. Lee had printed out a piece of paper w/ each of the girls’ names on them and we all wrote something nice about that person on their paper. Then, we wrote some nice notes on these leaves and went & “leafed” the Bishop’s door. It was a great night and wonderful activity to do before Thanksgiving.
I am so THANKFUL that I get the chance to serve w/ the incredible Young Women in our ward. Sis. Lee is such a phenomenal leader and is someone I definitely look up to (even though I’m a lot taller than her).
