When I went grocery shopping the other night, I was so excited to see this Aloe drink in the Asian section of WalMart. Nate used to drink it all the time in Japan & had us try some when he was home visiting this summer. It’s got little chunks of either grapes or aloe in it, and I love it. I decided to drink it in this “fancy” plastic cup just for fun.
I also watched “Last Holiday” b/c it’s a good Christmas/New Year’s (or any time of the year) movie. I relate to this movie SO MUCH b/c my family calls me “Queen Lisa-tifah”, I love to scrapbook (she had a “Possibilities Book” in the movie), she travels to a place that looks a LOT like Slovenija, she loves Emeril Lagasse & loves to cook, etc. I just keep wondering where’s my big, buff & brown Sean Matthews (LL Cool J)??? LOL! There’s so many good quotes in the movie like:
“You and I, we know the secret to life … butter.”
"Oh no, you done up and read my Possibilities Book!"
“Next time... we will laugh more, we'll love more; we just won't be so afraid.”
My beautiful bouquet of flowers that I was given at work has continued to bloom & these big white mum looking flowers are just gorgeous! I smile every time I look at them sitting there on my kitchen counter.
