We were so glad to wake up this morning and find that Rosy Posy was reading a story to the Barbies. Literacy is very important, you know.
Tonight after work/school, we came home & made a few boxes of stuffing and then went over to the church for our ward Christmas Party. Santa asked Autumn what she wants for Christmas & she said a Barbie. He asked her if she had any, and she said she had a lot. I clarified and let him know she had about 30 Barbies. He laughed and said, “that IS a lot! Now I know where they’re all going!” This cute little boy was so mesmerized by Santa that he just stood there and stared at him. LOL.
Autumn’s been into making this face lately … she’s such a ham. The dinner was good, and it was fun to sit at the same table as Liz & Liberty & Donna (I visit teach her) & Abby (her granddaughter that is Autumn’s age).
Santa handed out candy canes, & as you can see Autumn’s was blue. Her tongue was blue, her lips were blue, and her teeth were blue!!! I was so proud of Autumn b/c I asked her to help gather all of the Poinsettia plants off the tables, and she jumped right in to help w/ out complaining. We had the gym all cleaned up super fast b/c a lot of people stayed to help. Like Mom says, “many hands make light work.”
We came home & I got her to bed and then was in the mood to watch a movie while I worked on editing pics. I hadn’t seen this one in a while, so I popped it in. It’s such a good movie!!!
