Mom texted me today around 12:30 & said that they had finished working at the temple this morning & were in the area & wanted to know if I wanted to meet them for lunch. Um … OF COURSE! We met at this authentic Greek restaurant called Zorba’s. Whenever we eat here, it makes me think of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding.” Where’s my Ian Miller??? Oooooopa!!!
We got the traditional gyro w/ extra tzatziki sauce. That sauce is so good I could drink it w/ a straw. The meat reminds me a lot of my favorite Kebapci’s in Slovenija.
Dad splurged & we got their baklava cheesecake. It’s divine.
We had to get a “selfie” just for fun. Tonight for dinner we had yummy hamburgers & onion rings w/ pink sauce. We’re very into sauces in case you can’t tell. Dad & I are big “dippers”. We use our food as a utensil to get the sauce to our mouths. Anyways, we watched last night’s recorded episode of Modern Family (it was a funny one), and then Autumn & I came home & she took a shower & made a Rainbow Loom bracelet. I got her to bed, did a load of laundry, made a pan of brownies b/c I had a hankerin’ & watched Project Runway All Stars & then Parenthood. It’s been a fabulous day.
