Report cards came out today & Autumn did pretty well. They don’t give actual grades yet, and she got mostly 3’s out of 4. She needs to improve on listening to the teacher & following directions. After dinner we went out for frozen yogurt to celebrate her accomplishment.
I LOVE the avocado frozen yogurt here & those little ball things that are full of juice. They squish when you bit them.
We came home & I got her to bed & was in the mood to snuggle up on the couch & watch a romantic show. I couldn’t decide between Anne of Green Gables or Downton Abbey. I posted this pic on Facebook & everyone said for sure Anne. I was about half way through the first VHS when my VCR ate the tape!!! I tried winding the tape back in, but the one side wouldn’t even budge. So, I had to skip to the 2nd VHS. It makes me sound so old to say that “nowadays most kids don’t know what a VHS even is.” I might have to look into getting these on DVD, but it’s expensive.
For now I’ll just enjoy watching the dashing Gilbert Blythe on grainy old school film. Be still my beating heart!!!
