The One Where Papa Had To Get 8 Stitches

Today Dad was working out in the yard and after he got done working, he wanted to jump in the pool to cool off.  This post is by the back door to Mom & Dad’s bedroom, and this is where Dad hangs his swimsuit and towel.  He took his towel and swimsuit off the horns, and all of a sudden a bunch of wasps came out of the bull’s nose!  They had built a nest in there and he had just disturbed them.  One stung him in the side, and as he was swatting at one w/ his hat to kill it, his hand came down hard right on the tip of the bull’s horn!!!

\He sliced his middle finger open on the horn of the bull, and it even tore part of the tendon!  He hurried and went to the clinic and had one of the doctors clean it out and sew him up.  He’s super lucky that it didn’t sever the tendon completely, b/c then he would have to go to a surgeon.  As it is now, he had to get 8 stitches!  He’s in a lot of pain, but is also so glad that he can still bend his finger and that he doesn’t have to get hand surgery.  Poor Papa.  When he got home, he went out and sprayed wasp killer all over and inside the bull’s nose.
