Crazy Weather & Stanley Little Thunder

Today at work it got REALLY dark around 3:30 and it started to rain like crazy.  It was wild to see the storm rolling in from the northwest.

It rained hard for an hour and let up right in time to go home.  I wish I could have gotten a 360* shot of the sky, b/c it was super bright and sunny to the west, dark to the north & south, and lightning to the east.  Very cool!  I stopped at Costco on the way home & got a big pizza, took Autumn to cheer practice, and waited for Nate & Riannon & Olivia to get here.  They are coming back from Spain, but their flight was late so Autumn & I will have to wait and see them tomorrow.  Sis. Wright was an angel and went and picked them up.

Mom & Dad had quite the crazy adventure today.  They were driving down the road and they noticed a man laying on the side of the road, but he was right on the white line and was almost on the road.  They hurried and pulled over and Dad ran back to check on him and see if he was injured or not.  By this time a bus had also stopped to see if he was OK.  He said his name was Stanley Little Thunder and that he was walking to a nearby town and had gotten tired, so he just laid down and fell asleep.  Dad said he was extremely intoxicated, but posed no threat.  They put him in the car and gave him some food while they waited for the Rosebud Sioux Tribal Police to come pick him up and take him home.  Always an adventure!
