This tree outside my window at work is so pretty right now w/ the leaves changing. This picture doesn’t do justice to the bright & vibrant colors. We get about 2 weeks of fall time, so I’m enjoying it. I could not WAIT to get out of work today & start my 4 day weekend. My boss was nice and let me leave at 3:00 b/c I was caught up w/ all my work, and the phones haven’t been ringing at all today.
I picked up Autumn & we went over to Mom & Dad’s house so I could help w/ all the baking. Mom had already gotten a great head start and had made 4 pies! I helped her w/ the FOUR batches of butter horn rolls. Sofia was excited to help too, b/c she’s never made them before. Andrew was so proud of himself for photo bombing this picture! LOL!
We were discussing who is going to be making what part of the Thanksgiving meal next year since Mom & Dad will be in Africa! I am 35 years old and have never cooked a Thanksgiving turkey, or put on a whole Thanksgiving meal. It will be interesting to see how the Thanksgiving meal goes next year! We got a lot done and are all excited to celebrate Thanksgiving together tomorrow.
