Mom & Dad FINALLY started their temple training today. They got their missionary name tags, so now they’re officially official, even though they were set apart 2 weeks ago. I just LOVE this picture of them, even though you can’t see Dad’s missionary name tag b/c it’s hiding behind Mom’s shoulder.
Autumn has been wanting to go to the park to have a picnic, but my stomach still wasn’t feeling 100% and I needed to be close to a restroom. So, we just had a little driveway dinner picnic.
The weather was GORGEOUS and thanks to daylight savings, it was bright enough outside after dinner for us to go on a walk. We walked around the neighborhood and went to the park. The golden light was perfect, so I had to snap some photos of my gorgeous girl on my cell phone.
There are times when I look at her and still can’t believe she’s mine … even after 8 years. I am so blessed to be her Mom.
On our walk back home I had to snap a picture of the sun shining on her hair and her long legs that go on forever. I think she’s going to be a tall Amazon woman like me. We came home and had Family Home Evening. We talked about the Bible story of Lazarus and Autumn kept asking stuff like if Lazarus stunk after being dead for 4 days and why he was wrapped up like a mummy and if his skin was falling off. LOL! Oh, well … at least I tried.
