Last night after dinner Autumn & I went to the $1 Store to get some balloons and some fun little things to put together a farewell basket for Sheri, b/c it’s her last day of work today. I love doing little stuff like this.
Sheri’s direct boss got this GORGEOUS flower arrangement for her. I like the wooden bowl things & the bamboo elements.
Instead of getting a cake, Tom went & got some super fancy cupcakes. We’re going to miss Sheri (in the mint green in the middle) so much! But, her daughter (to her left) is going to be taking her place.
Lexie’s family went to a kid’s museum today and there was this big carpet in one of the rooms w/ a map of the world on it. They found South Africa in honor of Papa & Mimi. I got a text from Mom that they had landed and were there safe and sound. Let the adventure begin!
The Sister Missionaries were going to come over tonight with an investigator, but the investigator had to cancel b/c she had to work. Nate had asked if I could watch Olivia, so I let him know we were open and could watch her. Liz had also wanted to get together tonight for Autumn & Jacob to play together b/c it has been raining all day today and they were both going stir crazy. So, it all worked out. We met at Nate & Riannon’s, watched Olivia, had dinner, and then sat and talked. I’m so thankful for Liz & her fabulous friendship. We can be our true selves around each other.
