Today at work we had a training just for the office people. It was nice to have Paula & Lucy there. Especially since I’ve never met Lucy before but only talked to her on the phone. We learned A LOT about how to be better about setting appointments and which questions to ask. Our boss even brought in Dickey’s BBQ for us for lunch. It was a really productive & positive day.
As soon as I got Autumn from daycare we went over to her school for Open House. She got to take home all these cool things she’s been working on. I’m so thankful for great educators and all that they do for our kids.
Since Autumn’s 2nd grade teacher, art teacher, and music teacher all said how wonderful she is I told her we could go to McDonald’s for dinner as a treat. While we were there, we were saying goodbye to Papa & Mimi before they get on a plane to fly to Johannesburg.
This is the picture they texted us right before getting on the plane. This morning they flew from SLC to Atlanta, had a lay over in Atlanta, and then flew to Joburg. We’re going to miss them terribly, but I am also so excited for them. We’ve known about it for months, so it’s nice to finally have it be here and for them to finally start their mission.
