A Good Evening Together

Today after work/school Autumn & I went to our favorite car wash place to get the car washed. They also do windshield rock chip repair. I had a dime sized one from a few years ago, and I thought I had a new one b/c I heard a rock hit my windshield while driving down the highway this week. They fixed those, and also cleaned the inside and outside of my car. I LOVE going there. After that, we went to Chipotle for dinner since we have a gift card, and shared a barbacoa bowl.

Our drink was “sweating” on the outside of the cup and I noticed that when 2 drops hit the table they merged together and formed this heart shape! Autumn & I thought that was pretty cool.

We got home & Autumn wanted to go straight outside to ride her bike around the neighborhood. She LOVES being able to ride her bike.

Even though we live in a safe neighborhood & I don’t have to follow along behind her, I still like to be outside and have her at least say hi when she rides by. Since I was outside, I had to get some pictures of these GORGEOUS flowers in a neighbor’s flower beds.

This purple & white one is so pretty. Nature seriously amazes me … how can just part of the petal be one color and the other part be another color?

Once it started to get dark we came in and had Family Home Evening. Tonight we talked about the temple, and I showed her the WONDERFUL video the church did, which shows the inside of some of our temples. I thought it would be good for her to see what it looks like since I try & go to the temple every week and Papa & Mimi are working in the temple every day. We had a fun evening together.
