I had sooooooooooooo much fun at the "Gilbert Blythe Swoon Party" last night where we watched Anne of Green Gables to remember our girlhood crushes on actor, Jonathan Crombie who recently passed away (he was only 48 years old). It's so great to get to share such a classic with our kids!
Everyone brought yummy treats to share, and we made it about 3/4 of the way through the first movie but had to stop b/c it was already 10:00 pm! I was surprised that the kids wanted to watch it w/ us Mom’s, but they all loved it. I’m thankful for good/clean movies like this. Gilbert Blythe will always hold a special place in my heart. He is just so charming & endearing when he’s sitting on the side of the river fishing and talking to Marilla.
