Autumn & I haven't gotten a Sunday picture together in a long time, so we had Nick take one for us today. It was SO NICE not to have any meetings before or after church today. I enjoyed getting to just relax and soak in the Spirit and feel uplifted and edified. I'm for sure going to need it this coming week w/ trying to prepare for camp.
When Autumn & I got home from church we had some dinner and then went through a bunch of papers and stuff that she brought home from school since school is almost over. I HAD to save this letter for several reasons. They were supposed to write a "persuasion" letter where they're trying to persuade someone to do something. Obviously, she wants a dog but I always have to tell her no, b/c we're never home to take care of it.
The last 2 lines really broke my heart. "Can you just get married all ready. So that way you can be a stay home mom." She sees a bunch of other kids at school who get to have lunch w/ their parents up on the stage, or get picked up after school instead of having to go to daycare. But, I have to just show her how much I love her in other ways. I also have to remind myself that this is just a "phase of life" we're in right now. Someday I can hopefully be a stay at home Mom but for now that's not possible.
