Labor Day Laziness

It was a huge blessing to have the day off today. Autumn & I just lounged around the house, took naps, stayed hydrated, and used up a whole box of tissues. I hate that we’re both sick, but at least we can be sick in the comfort of our own home instead of having to be at work & school. Savi is trying to help Nick learn & understand more about money, so he has this thing called “Money Matters.” We worked on it with him to figure out what change he would owe back to us if we bought something from him.

Nate & Riannon had texted earlier in the day to see if we wanted to come over to BBQ & swim. We had to tell them we couldn’t b/c we’re both sick. This evening there was a knock on the door, and it was Nate! He had stopped by to bring us dinner. There was grilled pork chops, salad, and even homemade cookies! That made our whole day. Neither of us are looking forward to getting back to the usual schedule tomorrow.
